6th Grade P.E.
This course is offered to provide physical learning experiences which are broad in scope and which emphasize the establishment of good attitudes, sports skills and knowledge, and physical improvement. Activities include: basketball, colony ball, fitness, flag football, indoor tennis, kick ball, relays, soccer, ultimate Frisbee and football, volleyball, walker ball, and other group games.
7th and 8th Grade P.E.
This course is offered to provide physical learning experiences which are broad in scope and which emphasize the establishment of good attitudes, sports skills and knowledge, and physical improvement. This course is designed to allow students to participate in many different team oriented activities.
Lifetime Sports
This course is designed to allow students to participate in a variety of lifetime sports (such as badminton, tennis, fishing, frisbee golf, and golf). It allows students to learn in a competitive and non-competitive atmosphere.
Lifetime Wellness
The wellness class is designed to help students appreciate the value of physical, mental, social, and spiritual health. Another objective is to help them acquire the knowledge needed to achieve and maintain a state of balanced well-being. This class emphasizes that health is largely a matter of each person's responsibility and that choices made about one's own lifestyle during the teenage years have important long-term effects on health and happiness.
