Tuesday-1st and 2nd period-p.37, 6-15
3rd period-p. 37, 8-17,19-21
1st and 3rd period need to have their test signed for two points. 2nd period will need to have theirs signed tomorrow.

Thursday-Memory verse test tomorrow. 5 Vocabulary words from HATCHET due Friday. Purple reading log due tomorrow. Read chapter 17 of HATCHET
Wednesday-Some students need to finish Moving Day. All students need to finish reading HATCHET chapters 14 and 15, pages 128-146. We have 5 vocabulary words due by Friday.
Tuesday- BIBLE-Finish copying the memory verse if you have not already finished. Some students need to finish their "Moving Day", map scale work.

All the students were excited to share their Labor Day adventures when we returned to school this week. It is good to be back together, settled in our routines, and ready to accomplish much during the month of September. Our 1st nine week grading period is almost 1/2 way gone. Students should be taking AR tests and striving to meet their 9 week goal.
We are continuing to enjoy HATCHET as Brian meets the many challenges of life in the wilderness. He has quit feeling sorry for himself and is now focusing on survival. We will finish the book early next week and then begin our end of the book projects.
We are going to wrap up our mapping study next week and then focus on landforms for a few days. We will have our 1st Bible test next week over the early years of Jesus's life. In math we are adding and subtracting whole numbers and decimals. We will have a test over those concepts next week.
The Lady BUCS soccer team plays at home Thursday night at 7:00. We will be playing Grace. The Friday football game is also at home. We play Howard at 7:30.
