I attended Boyd-Buchanan School from kindergarten through the ninth grade. I am married and have three children. Two of my children are Boyd-Buchanan graduates. My youngest daughter is in the sixth grade at B.B.S. This is my twelvth year teaching Science here. It is my great pleasure to assist your student on this exciting journey.

Life Science 7
Life Science 7
Life Science is a comprehensive overview of the living world around us. Students demonstrate research, observation, gathering data, hypothesis, experimentation, and results analysis. Hands on activities include individual science projects and required laboratory work. Students are able to discuss cells, DNA, photosynthesis, classification, and the systems of the human body. From vocabulary to critical thinking skills, Life Science builds a strong foundation to prepare students for Biology I.

Science Lab 8
Science Lab 8 is a 9 week 8th grade exploratory class that concentrates on answering questions using the scientific method.
