Math 7
This math course uses the aspects of standard mathematics to enhance basic skills as well as provide a foundation for pre-algebra. This course allows the transition from elementary skills to pre-algebra skills using mathematical concepts and methods needed in upper level math courses. Course topics include variables, integers, equations and inequalities, rational number operations, ratios, and percents.

7th Grade Pre-Algebra

Pre-Algebra 7
The pre-algebra course is an accelerated study of mathematics designed to prepare the student for algebra. This course enables students to make the transition from elementary mathematics to algebra in one year. The course emphasizes pre-algebra skills and concepts, such as variables, equation solving, linear functions, and problem solving.
 

Math Enrichment

The math enrichment course is designed to help students understand the practical uses of math in the real world.  Topics of econony, logical reasoning, number patterns, and problem solving will be taught.  Students will get an opportunity for extra technology training as well as participate in "hands on" learning activities.

Math Lab 7
Math Lab 7

This course is designed to assist those who need additional help in math. The course is intended to enhance the skills most needed and to help each student be more successful in the mathematics program. Students will focus on basic mathematical skills as well as the current course curriculum for Math 7. Students will be reevaluated each 9 weeks for placement in math lab. A signed contract is required for placement in this course as well as teacher recommendation.
