9th / 10th Grade Bible

This course will be a survey of the Old Testament. The goals of this study are to:

           Learn all the books of the Old Testament

           Learn various Bible stories from the Old Testament

           Apply the values from the stories of the Old Testament to our life today.

Eight hours of community service will be required for each nine weeks. These hours will be completed outside of class.

World History

This course is a chronological study of the development of the major cultures of the world. Emphasis is placed on the similarities and differences between various cultures and their views toward politics, economics, religion, and other social aspects. The course begins with an ancient civilization review and ends with WW II. These topics are enhanced through the use of lecture, discussion, writing, and audio-visual materials.
