Course Description

The Video Production course is for students who have an interest in the field of video production. This course will include tips for making a good video: equipment, lighting, interviewing, etc. Students will produce several short films including promotional videos of various school events/functions, scripted videos, and student original videos. Students will be required to write, storyboard, direct, shoot, and edit these films independently and in a group. Students will develop skills in time management and leadership skills while working on individual and group projects. Students are encouraged to own or have access to video and still cameras.
