Week of Sept. 6
As often happens we are no longer on the schedule I had predicted.
Tuesday and Wednesday, Sept. 7 & 8 - students will finalize their scripts and storyboard. Schedule for filming will be set.
Thursday and Friday, Sept. 9 & 10 - students will be working on entering film into MovieMaker or iMovie.

Course Description
The Video Production course is for students who have an interest in the field of video production. This course will include tips for making a good video: equipment, lighting, interviewing, etc. Students will produce several short films including promotional videos of various school events/functions, scripted videos, and student original videos. Students will be required to write, storyboard, direct, shoot, and edit these films independently and in a group. Students will develop skills in time management and leadership skills while working on individual and group projects. Students are encouraged to own or have access to video and still cameras. The school will provide the students with the technology (editing software and computers) to produce DVDs of student productions.

Tuesday and Wednesday, Sept. 7 & 8 - work on setting properties and writing code for Project 2; students will following instruction; projector will be used.
Thursday and Friday, Sept. 9 & 10 - students will be working on independent work with teacher assistance.

Course Description
This course is designed to develop the student’s skills in programming using Visual Basic. Topics will include: introduction to Visual Basic’s IDE, creating a project with one form containing various controls, writing code for an application, debugging, saving, and printing an application, naming controls, setting properties, creating projects with multiple forms, Msgboxes, .exe files, drag and drop functions, creating menus, and creating control arrays.
